The occult division of a large FTP server run by Lysator, an academic computing society located at Linköping University in Sweden. Quite a lot of useful and interesting material, including texts by Aleister Crowley, Israel Regardie, Austin Osmond Spare, Peter Carroll, and many more, but a very slow site, which hasn't been updated in a very long time. Also, it dates back to the days when freedom of information tended to predominate over intellectual property rights on the web, so there could be copyright issues with some of this material. My initial review of this site was "A lot of useful stuff on psychic self-defence if you can get past all the bogus history and mystification." I recently checked back, and there are a whopping eight more sizable volumes of material there now, most of which contain a much higher proportion of useful content to pseudo-Great-White-Brotherhood drivel than the earlier volumes. So there's a definite trend toward improvement in the signal-to-noise ratio, but I still wonder why so many people feel they have to dress up their ideas as Secret Ancient Wisdom in order to have them taken seriously? Most of the material here would be perfectly capable of standing on its own merits...
