A bimonthly journal from the University of Michigan, aimed at bridging the communication gap between researchers and policy makers on endangered species issues. The site offers abstracts of articles, but you need to subscribe to the print journal to get the full text.
IUCN Species Survival Commission (SSC)

The Species Survival Commission is a subgroup of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature - a volunteer network of over 7,000 experts, whose work is concerned specifically with biodiversity and endangered species issues. It includes a wide variety of specialized groups focussing particular kinds of plants and animals, and a database of information on specific endangered species.
The Virtual Library of Ecology and Biodiversity

Part of the Virtual Library Project and the Center for the Conservation Biology. The Virtual Library Project is the oldest catalogue of the web, and was actually begun by the inventor of the web itself, Tim Berners-Lee. It is compiled by volunteers, not unlike the Open Directory Project, but unlike that one it has stringent quality standards and you have to be a recognized expert in a field to be able to maintain a section of it. This section is maintained by the Center for the Conservation Biology at Rice University in Texas, and aims to index the highest-quality information on ecology and biodiversity on the web.
